A 43-year-old Hollister woman was cited by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of marijuana possession, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Clearview Drive in Hollister, police said.

A 54-year-old Hollister woman was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of fraud and two counts of passing fake checks, all felonies, after a bank reported that a woman attempted to cash 21 traveler's checks at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at San Benito Bank, 300 Tres Pinos Road, Hollister, police said.
