County supervisors and some citizens might have to set their alarm clock an hour earlier on Tuesday mornings.
The San Benito County Board of Supervisors will change its morning meetings' start time from 9:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. starting May 6. It is meant to better accommodate the public, said Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz, who's board chairman.
De La Cruz said items pertaining to planning and land-use issues will now be heard at the 1:30 p.m. meeting time on those same Tuesdays to allow the county staff to get resources ready. Starting at 9 a.m. will allow an extra 30 minutes to go over issues before the 12 p.m. break, he noted.
Meetings are held every first, second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the County Administration Building, 481 Fourth St.
