The American Red Cross for Monterey and San Benito Counties Chapter will be putting on their fourth annual Heroes Breakfast on Thursday.
The breakfast will celebrate individuals who have shown courage, kindness and unselfish character in Monterey and San Benito counties. The eight different categories are for educator, fire safety, good samaritan, law enforcement, medical, military, spirit of the Red Cross and workplace heroes.
Recipients this year include: Lily Rangel, Melissa Cobbett, Alisha Anderson, Adam Sanders, Ian Parsons, Heath Johnson, Jorge Alvarado, Bernard Corpuz, Nathan Krissoff, Brian Simpson, Joe Jansen, Wes Williams, Dale Fors, Jason Gates and James Knowlton.
Proceeds will go toward the programs and services of the American Red Cross, including local disaster relief. A donation of $110 per breakfast is encouraged. Anyone will is interested can call 633-3371, and RSVP is required.
