LeAnna Ceglia has been named the 2008 Miss San Benito Rodeo.
Ceglia, 17, competed for the honor against three others Saturday at Bolado Park in a series of events judged on horsemanship and presentation.
The rodeo queen's duties include riding in the Saddle Horse Show Parade, attending community events, raising awareness for the annual show and acting as a role model to younger residents, said Jamie Fowles, chairwoman of the contest.
The other three contestants this year were Alicia Kimes, Tonya Dubrul and Melanie Abercrombie.
