Police blotter: Suspects grab adult mags through store's broken glass

Second-degree burglary
On Aug. 18 shortly before 1 a.m. unknown suspects broke in the front window of Righetti's Liquors. They then reached through the broken glass and stole numerous adult magazines off of a sales rack.
Battery
Police are seeking four or five individuals who assaulted a Hollister resident Sunday evening. No motive was reported in the incident, which resulted in the victim being transported to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital with a severe laceration to the left side of his upper lip.

Threats
One adult was taken into custody on Aug. 14 after his brother reported the man threatening to kill him.
Operating a business without a permit
A woman was cited for selling CDs in a parking lot without a business permit.
