Kinship's big fundraising event is around the corner
Gabilan Chapter Kinship Center presents its annual Wine and Food tasting on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 4-6:30 p.m., at the Paicines Ranch. The event includes a Silent Auction, featuring golf and vacation packages, fine art, wines and more! Tickets available at Fortino's Total Home, She's, Drapoel's, Postnet and Timber & Textiles. Aromas Grange music event
On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Aromas Community Grange will present their monthly contra dance with an evening of energetic music provided by the the Fiddlerats. Calling and teaching will be Warren Blier. An optional beginner's orientation is available at 7:15 p.m.; the dance begins at 7:30 p.m. and concludes at 10:30 p.m. Casual light clothing and comfortable, soft-soled shoes are recommended. The dance includes a dessert potluck, so you are invited to bring snacks or drinks to share. Admission is a donation of $10. The historic Aromas Grange hall is located at the corner of Rose Avenue and Bardue Street in Aromas. For more information call Doug at 726-2322.
