A suspect in the 1200 Block of Line Street was arrested by Hollister Police Saturday on suspicion that he had been involved in a disturbance. When police checked their database they realized the suspect also had several outstanding warrants. A search of his vehicle revealed stolen property. The police report did not specify what the stolen items were.
Threats and intoxication, Fifth Street
A suspect in the 800 Block of Fifth Street that is "very well known to Hollister Police," according to Officer Rosie Betanio of the Hollister Police department, the spokeswoman, was arrested on Friday when he was challenging people to fight him. The same suspect was arrested for public intoxication on Sunday.
False report, Pear Tree Lane
A suspect in the 100 Block of Pear Tree Lane was cited after reporting her vehicle as having been stolen. The vehicle had been damaged when an acquaintance borrowed it and became involved in a police chase.

Vandalism, Suiter Street
A woman in the 900 Block of Suiter Street reported to police that her neighbor had trespassed and cut down her lemon tree. No arrests have been made in the case.

An unknown suspect in the 1000 block of Line Street kicked in the front door of a residence and ransacked the home, taking multiple items including jewelry, sunglasses, a DVD player and cell phones.
