Police blotter: Man arrested for charging cell phone at business

ARRESTS



Theft of utility services, McCray Street

A suspect in the 200 block of McCray Street was arrested on Tuesday at 12:27 p.m. when he was found to be charging his cell phone without the establishment's permission.



Trespassing, Verona Street

A suspect was arrested on Tuesday at 5 p.m. along the 500 block of Verona Street when he refused to leave a home that the homeowner had repeatedly asked him to leave.



Trespassing, First Street

A man was arrested on Wednesday after police found him sleeping naked behind an office building that law enforcement had previously advised him to stay away from. The 50-year-old man also had warrants for his arrest. He was booked into the San Benito County Jail.



CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS



Theft, Hillcrest Road

Police took a report at 2 a.m. along the 800 block of Hillcrest Road concerning the theft of four tires from a 1993 Buick.



Attempted fraud, Diablo Street

Police took a report on Tuesday at 12:35 p.m. that a victim received counterfeit money orders with instructions to cash them and send the money to China.
