Possession of a controlled substance, unlisted road

At 12:57 a.m., Monday sheriff's deputies took a Hollister man into custody for suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, false registration tags, resisting arrest and destruction of evidence. The man was booked into the county jail.



Willful Cruelty to child, Irma Drive

Deputies arrested a Hollister man at 2:50 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Irma Drive for suspicion of reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a hypodermic needle, being under the influence of a controlled substance, willful cruelty to child/child endangerment likely to cause injury or death, and resisting an officer. The suspect was booked into the county jail.



CRIMINAL REPORTS



Firearm confiscated, Santa Ana Court

Sheriff's deputies confiscated a firearm from a subject for safekeeping at 3:50 p.m. Saturday on the 1900 block of Santa Ana Court.



Tampering with a vehicle, Bixby Road

A victim made a report to sheriff's deputies at 10 p.m. Jan. 7 that unknown suspects had taken the rims and tires off his vehicle. The victim wished to have the incident, which occurred on the 500 block of Bixby Road, documented by deputies.
