The 14th annual Spotlight on Hollister and San Benito County Expo and Job Fair is today at 2 p.m. and will have a green focus to showcase businesses and available jobs in the area, while around 70 booths are set to take part.

The "ECO-nomics" expo and job fair - with green technology as the focus - is set to last until 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building and is free to the public.

The event is not only for adults. Teenagers looking for help with summer employment will be able to watch skits on how to best present for employment including how to dress and how to best conduct themselves to get hired. There also will be recycling displays and events for children.

At 5:30 p.m., there will be a mixer with live entertainment. Also, five local restaurants will showcase their food for the public. Included are Papa Murphy's, Las Palmas, The Elegant Touch, The Cutting Horse, Ridgemark and San Juan Oaks.

The event is presented by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce, the San Juan Bautista Chamber of Commerce, the Hollister Downtown Association and Economic Development Corp. of San Benito County.
