The number of foreclosure filings in San Benito County dropped slightly in June, according to figures provided by Irvine-based RealtyTrac.
There were 215 properties in some stage of foreclosure, a decrease of 3.6 percent from the prior month, with 101 notices of default, also a slight decrease.
The numbers also show the foreclosure situation here has not improved since last year at this time. In June 2008, there were 195 homes in foreclosure and 96 notices of default that month, according to RealtyTrac.
Overall in California, there were more than 101,000 properties in foreclosure last month.
