Police blotter: Man arrested after hopping fire station wall

Carry or conceal a dirk or dagger and trespassing, Union Road
At 5:55 p.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old Hollister man climbed the rear wall at Hollister Fire Station No. 2 in the 1000 block of Union Road. On-duty firefighters saw the suspect jump the wall and called police. Officials talked with the suspect, who said he was trying to take a shortcut. He was searched by police and found to be in possession of a knife concealed in an inside part of his pants. The suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
Grand theft, Panorama Drive
Between 10 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a computer was reported stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of Panorama Drive. The victim said she came home and held a party at her residence. After the party was over, she noticed the computer was missing. Police have a list of people at the party and the case is still under investigation.
Burglary, Mimosa Street
Between 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday, a victim reported an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle in the 1500 block of Mimosa Street. The suspect stole an iPod valued at $300 from the vehicle. Police have processed the vehicle for evidence and there are no suspects at this time.
Burglary, Community Parkway
Between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, a reporting party told police that an unknown subject or subjects unlawfully entered the Head Start Preschool building in the 1100 block of Community Parkway and stole a computer valued at $700. Police said there was a prior incident at the preschool but had no other details.
